Connect aims at transforming the Erasmus / study abroad experience into a reflective learning process beyond the classroom and to contribute to help participants develop awareness and a set of valuable skills in the area of intercultural communication. The training, activities, and reflections were thought to help participants develop and practice critical thinking and problem-solving collaboration and communication while challenging assumptions about their own and other / host cultures. The intercultural communication training will help broaden participants’ perspectives on cultural stereotypes and global issues and enhance the understanding of the impact of culture on values and the decision making whilst mirroring themselves through the eyes of others.
